Late Art Deco Long Cherry Amber Bead Necklace
A fantastic strand of amber beads from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This stunning necklace is made up of 55 graduated natural cherry amber beads which form an extra long necklace. Strung on deep red string, the piece is knotted in between each bead and hangs long, no need for a clasp. The color of the amber is absolutely magnificent and has a wonderful, vibrant, deep cherry red color. The beads are large in size and the necklace is very long in length and makes a true statement when worn. It would be a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The largest bead, which is in the center of the strand, measures approximately 1 1/4" wide, and 1" thick and the smallest measures 5/8" wide and 3/8" thick. The overall length of the necklace is 40".
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage or chips to the amber and the stringing is in fine condition.
