Late Art Deco 14kt Gold Wirework Moonstone Earrings
Absolutely stunning moonstone earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! These wonderful earrings are made of 14kt yellow gold and are accented with gorgeous moonstones. Each earring begins with a gold flower topper which is surrounded by an ornately decorated border of gold wirework. Dangling from the surmount is a sunburst-like link which has a cabochon moonstone resting in its center. The moonstones are particularly wonderful, with pearly, vibrant blue color. The gold mounting displays fantastic twisted wirework and beadwork and the back of each earring is stamped “14K”. These earrings are simply marvelous and would make a stunning addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 3/8" long, are slightly less than 3/4" at their widest point, and have a depth of slightly more than 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or wires and the moonstones are secure and intact.
