Late Art Deco Huge Carved Jade Toggle Pendant
A fabulous and fun jade necklace from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This simple yet stunning piece depicts a single, large carved jade toggle ring which hangs from a brown silk cord. The jade ring has a wonderful carved design on the surface and a vibrant green color. The cord loops through the center of the ring and stylishly knots in the back for closure. The back of the jade ring has a hand carved marked; please see photographs. The necklace hangs long and makes a bold statement when worn. It would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: The exterior of the open jade ring measures approximately 2" in diameter and has a depth of a little less than 3/8". The inside opening of the ring has a diameter of a little more than a 1/2". The length of the cord measures approximately 30" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the jade toggle or to the silk cord.
