An exquisite sterling bracelet from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era. The bracelet, which is of Chinese origin, is made of sterling silver and has a wonderful and ornate dragon design with 4 moonstones set within it. The front of the bracelet portrays the head and tail of a dragon and 4 clawed hands which grasp the moonstones. The body of the dragon looks to wrap around the wrist and the underside of the bracelet has a serpent like appearance. The detail is simply exquisite with a textured body and face and smoke coming from the dragon's nose. The cabochon moonstones are large in size and have a milky blue color. The bracelet is surprisingly light in weight and very comfortable to wear. It is hinged and opens on the side with a screw pin clasp. The inside of the bracelet is stamped "96%" along with another word that I can't read; please see images. It is a magnificent and unusual piece and would make a great addition to any collection!

Measurements: The inside diameter, where your wrist would rest, measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and 2" high. The surface width of the bracelet graduates in size from 1 1/2" at the widest (where the dragon face is) and a little more than 1/4" at the skinniest (on the underside of the bracelet). The bracelet has a depth of 1/2" where the moonstones are.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the silver and all of the stones are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
