Late Victorian 18kt Diamond Engagement Ring .50ct
- On Hold
A lovely diamond engagement ring from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! The center diamond stone, which is an old Mine Cut, has a total weight of approximately .50ct tw and is set in a beautiful 18kt yellow gold setting. The stone color is I color and SI 2 clarity. The mounting has a wonderful, feminine look with a simple beadwork design along the shoulders and a high prong setting. The diamond is set in a 6-prong setting which has an open channel beneath it. When worn, it rests high above the finger and looks lovely on. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6 but it could easily be resized. When worn, the ring sits a little less than 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting and the diamond is intact.
