Late Victorian Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Cufflinks
Striking sapphire and diamond cufflinks from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! Each cufflink is made of solid platinum and the faces are covered with a fine etched design. In the center of each textured circle is a line of 3 French cut sapphires. At each end of the group of sapphires is a sparkling, diamond which completes the vibrant line of stones. The design is absolutely gorgeous! Connecting each circle is a single platinum bar that measures approximately 1/2" long, and each cuff is stamped “PLATINUM” on its back. A classic pair of cufflinks, these would look fabulous worn by a man or woman!
Measurements: Each circle on the cufflinks has a diameter of slightly more than 1/2" and is less than 1/8” thick. Together, the cufflinks have a total pennyweight of 8.1dwt.
Condition: The overall condition of the cuff links is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the sapphires and diamonds are intact.
