A wonderful sterling silver and French paste necklace from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This beautiful necklace, which is of French decent, is comprised of 8 bow-shaped links that hold 11 paste stones each. Alternating with each of these links is a single French paste stone, bezel set in sterling silver. Hanging from the center of the necklace is a lovely pendant that portrays an ornate scrolled design that is encrusted with 20 sparkling, French paste stones. Attached to this pendant is an additional, free hanging pendant that displays a paste encrusted sparrow, with a scroll suspended from wing to wing. The clasp of the necklace is hidden within one of the links at the back of the piece. This necklace has a striking look and would make a fantastic addition to any collection.

Measurements: The necklace measures 16" long. The 2 pendants together measure 1 3/4" long, 1” at the widest point, and a little less than 1/8” thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear there is no apparent damage to the silver and all of the stones are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
