A stunning gold ballerina pin from the Retro (ca1940) era! This gorgeous 14kt yellow gold pin portrays a graceful ballerina wearing a dramatic dress decorated with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds. A bezel set ruby can be found on each shoulder of the dancer and four more rubies can be found set within the skirt of her dress. The dress also holds four sapphires, two emeralds, and two sparkling diamonds, each set in the center of an etched star design. A carved pink tourmaline stone can be found where the dancers face should be. The stone is prong set and carved in such a way that it appears to be a leaf.  On the back of the ballerina is a long pin clasp. A very special piece, this pin would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurement: The pin measures approximately 1 1/8" at its widest and 1 3/4" long.

Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and all of the stones are intact. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
