This exquisite bracelet is comprised of two individual Art Deco (ca1920) line bracelets, which were combined in the 1940's to form a single fabulous piece. Both original line bracelets were set in platinum and are still in the original setting. There are 38 French Cut sapphires and 38 sparkling old European diamonds. Each single diamond weighs approximately .22ct, with a total overall diamond weight of approximately 8.40ct tw. The diamonds are prong set in a box setting and have color in the G-H range and clarity in the VS range. Each sapphire weighs approximately 0.33ct with a total overall weight of approximately 12.55ct tw. The sapphires have rich, blue color and a faceted face. The diamonds and sapphires are set within a 14kt yellow gold bangle bracelet, which has a beautifully etched surface. The bracelet is hinged and clasps on the side. The inside of the clasp is stamped "14K" and there is a "figure 8" clasp on the side for added safety. This one-of-a-kind piece looks to be a custom bracelet that was hand made for a special woman in the 1940's. It would make a fabulous addition to any collection!

Measurements: The surface of the bracelet graduates in width from 1 1/4" at the widest point and 7/8" at the thinnest. The inside opening (where your wrist would rest) measures approximately 1 7/8" tall and 2 1/4" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum setting and all of the stones are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
