Retro 14kt Ruby & Sapphire Gift Box w/Rose Charm

A wonderful gold charm/pendant from the Retro (ca1940) era! This fabulous piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and depicts a gift-wrapped box, complete with a bow! The box has a 3-demensional design with tiny, textured dimples covering the entire box. At the center of the box is a sparkling, prong set ruby stone which is set in the center of the bow. The box opens to reveal a gorgeous single long-stem rose which is covered in vibrant red and green enameling. At the center of the stem is a fabulous, prong set sapphire stone. The underside of the box cover is stamped “14K". It would make a perfect addition to any charm bracelet or to hang from a gold neck chain!

Measurements: The charm hangs approximately 1 1/4" long, is 1/2" at the widest point and is slightly less than 1/2" at its deepest point.

Condition: The overall condition of the charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or enameling, and all of the stones are intact. The box opens easily and stays securely closed.
