Retro Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 2.85ct

An exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! Made of platinum, this striking ring has a single diamond stone center, which is a transitional Brilliant cut, and has a total weight of 2.85ct tw. The color of the stone is I and a clarity of I1. It is set in a simple 4 prong platinum mounting which sits high atop a wonderful and classically feminine mounting. The shank of the ring is stamped "PM" along with another hallmark. The ring comes with an appraisal by a GIA certified, accredited and independent Gemologist. It is an absolutely stunning ring and would make a beautiful engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7 but it could easily be resized. When worn, the ring sits a little more than 1/4" atop the finger.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum or to the diamond stone.
