Retro Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring Set .25ct - On Hold

A lovely diamond engagement ring set from the Retro (ca1940) era! This beautiful set is comprised of a beautiful diamond ring and a wedding band, each made of platinum. The engagement ring has a single round Cut diamond that sits atop a stunning diamond detailed mounting. The diamond is prong set within platinum and has an approximate weight of .25ct. The stone has I color and SI1 clarity and sits high above the mounting. Resting within the gorgeous setting are 4 additional single cut diamonds that line each shoulder of the ring. The wedding band is also made of platinum and carries a complimentary design. Six round cut diamonds rest across the top of the ring in a design that compliments the engagement ring wonderfully. The engagement ring is stamped on the inside "JEP. to KRO. 12-25-47" and "FIRST LADY" and the wedding band is stamped "JEP. to "KRO. 7-2-49" and "10% IRID PL". The engagement set comes with an appraisal by an independent and accredited Gemologist. It would make an absolutely stunning engagement ring set!

Measurements: The rings have a finger size 5.75 but could easily be re-sized. When worn, the engagement ring sits about 1/4" atop your finger.

Condition: The overall condition of the engagement ring set is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum settings and all of the diamonds are intact.
