Retro Large Platinum Diamond & Sapphire Flower Ring 1.25ctw

A stunning diamond and sapphire flower ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! At the center of this gorgeous design is a prong set sapphire, which weighs approximately 2.15ct. Surrounding the center sapphire are 16 petals, each accented with an old Mine Cut diamond for a total carat weight of 1.25ct tw. Each petal is enhanced with milgraining and several of the petals are slightly raised at the ends, giving the flower a gorgeous 3-dimensional look. The platinum mounting includes a row of heart shapes that runs along the base of the flower petals. This fabulous ring looks striking on and would make a lovely addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75 but it could easily be resized. The flower has a diameter of approximately 1" and sits approximately 1/4" above the finger at the highest point.

 

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the stones are intact.
