Retro Signed Trifari Sterling & Jeweled Jelly Belly Bug Pin

A simply wonderful signed Trifari "Jelly Belly" bug pin from the Retro (ca1940) era! This piece, which depicts a large winged bug, has a "Jelly Belly" body which is made of a cabochon glass stone. The bug is graced with 2 large wings which are encrusted with sparkling rhinestones on the inside. The piece is made of sterling silver and has additional rhinestones detailing its neck and 2 cabochon faux ruby eyes. On the underside of the pin is a sterling clasp and the marks "STERLING" and "TRIFARI". The pin is just lovely and a must for any Trifari Jelly Belly collector! 

Measurements: The pin measures a little less than 2" wide, 1 3/4" tall and a little more than 1/2" in depth.

Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. There is no apparent damage to any of the sterling silver all of the stones and rhinestones are intact. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition. The silver has a natural patina on the surface which is not unusual for a piece from this age.
