Sterling Silver Victorian Horseshoe Earrings
Lucky horseshoe earrings! These fabulous sterling silver earrings are from the Victorian era (ca1880) and portray a classic symbol of luck and good fortune. Each earring is a sterling horseshoe which hangs from a sterling silver wire. Simple detail of 7 flat nail heads decorate the front of each horseshoe on either side. The surface of each earring has a beautiful natural patina which adds to the look of both. The back of each earring is marked sterling silver and has a hallmark which looks to be English. A fun pair of earrings for any horse lover!
Measurements: The earrings measure approximately 1" at the longest point, 1/2" at the widest point and are slightly less than 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the silver or to the wires.
