A marvelous locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and has a wonderful etched starburst design on the front. Each 8-point, hand engraved starburst has a single old Mine Cut diamond set in its center with a total diamond weight of approximately 1ct tw. The round locket hangs from a small oval shaped bail which is perfect for hanging from a simple gold chain. The wonderful design is simple yet bold and has a great Victorian look. The locket opens to reveal a space for a special photograph and the hand etched number "78". This lovely locket would look lovely worn alone or with other lockets and pendants!

Measurements: The locket hangs 1 3/4" long, has a diameter of 1 3/8" and is 1/16" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear and a couple minor dings, there is no serious damage to the locket. The locket opens easily and stays securely closed.
