A stunning Scottish agate bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The piece, which is made with 12kt yellow gold, is comprised of 5 agate links with an agate padlock clasp in the center. The agate, which is carnelian, banded and moss agate, has beautiful hues of orange, green, black and brown. Each of the links is made of 4 three-dimensional pieces of agate that come together with a single agate backing. The links are capped at both ends in etched 12kt gold and connect to each other by 2 gold "o" rings. The clasp is a padlock style which opens and can be easily taken off. It secures the hook-and-eye style closure and is inlaid with 4 pieces of agate, surrounded by an ornate etched border. On the back of the padlock is a small glass locket that is empty. It is very unusual and fantastic Scottish agate piece that would make a great addition to any collection!

Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2" long. Each agate link measures 1 1/2" wide, 1 1/8" thick and a depth of 1/4". The padlock clasp measures a little less than 1 1/2" tall, 7/8" wide and a little less than 3/8" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the agate and the hook clasp is in good working condition. The padlock clasp closes securely and is also in good working condition.
