Victorian 14kt Diamond & Pearl Filigree Wirework Pendant
A wonderful diamond and pearl pendant from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This delicate piece is made of 14kt yellow gold, and displays a sparkling diamond with natural pearl accents. The piece begins with a simple gold bail that attaches to a flowing gold wirework open pendant. A single seed pearl rests at the top of the pendant and a larger, natural pearl dangles from the bottom. In the center of the piece is an old Mine Cut diamond that is set in a buttercup setting and weighs approximately .08ct tw. The diamond and pearls compliment each other beautifully and the back of the gold bail is stamped “14K”. The piece has a beautiful, soft design and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 5/8" long, is a little less than 5/8" at the widest point, and has a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond and pearls are intact.
