The snake has been a powerful image since the Victorian era and continues to be popular even in modern jewelry. It has been an inspiration for jewelry design for ages, often used to symbolize eternity, everlasting love, life and protection. This fabulous diamond snake ring is from the Victorian (ca1880) era and is simply marvelous. Intertwined and twisted around each other, the 2 snakes are made of 14kt yellow gold and have a single old Mine Cut diamond set in each of their heads. The diamonds are Champagne colored and have a total approximate weight of .65ct tw. The snake bodies act as the ring's band and the heads are detailed with textured, scale-like etching. This fabulous ring would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7 but could easily be resized if desired. The width of the ring graduates in size from a little more than 5/8" to a little less than 1/4" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and all of the stones are intact.
