Victorian 14kt Etched Gold & Swinging Agate Earrings
A fabulous pair of long hanging agate earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! With a wonderful and lovely design, a single agate stone swings freely through the center of a 14kt yellow gold frame. The agate stone has a wonderful mix of earthy tones and hangs freely from the frame. The gold border has a smooth surface with lovely etched details at the scrolled bottom and sides and the agate has a gold topper where it attaches to the earring. The earrings hang from a 14kt gold clasped wire. Although the earrings are fairly large, they are very light in weight and look beautfiul when worn!
Measurements: The earrings hang a little more than 2 1/4" long, are 3/4" at the widest point of the gold frame and the agate stone has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the stone, to the gold setting or earring wires.
