A fabulous pair of long Victorian (ca1880) chalcedony hanging earrings! With a wonderful and lovely design, a single chalcedony stone swings freely through the center of a 14kt yellow gold frame. The chalcedony stone has a wonderful milky color and is flat on the back with a convex front. The gold border has a lovely etched design and the chalcedony has a gold topper. The earrings hang from a 14kt gold wire which has a single gold ball at the surmount. Although the earrings are fairly large, they are very light in weight and make a statement when worn!

Measurements: The earrings hang a little more than 2 1/4" long, are 5/8" at the widest point of the gold frame and the chalcedony stone has a depth of 1/4".

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is a small chip at the bottom of one of the chalcedony stones, however, it is hardly noticeable when worn. There is no other apparent damage to the other stone, to the gold or to the earring wires.
