Victorian 14kt Garnet,Sapphire & Quartz Repousse Bracelet

A gorgeous repousse 14kt gold bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! A hinged bangle, this stunning bracelet is decorated in a heavy floral and swirl repousse motif. There are 5 bezel set multi-colored stones that lay across the top of the bracelet, approximately 3/8" apart from each other. Each stone varies in type and in size. From left to right, the stones are a blue sapphire, a smokey quartz, a demantoid garnet, a white sapphire and a pink sapphire. The stones vary in size slightly from approximately 40ptw (the pink sapphire) to 75ptw (the center demantoid garnet). A stunning piece, this bracelet is hollow inside and very light in weight. The inside of the clasp is stamped "14". It would look lovely worn alone or with other bangle bracelets!

Measurements: The interior diameter of the bracelet measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. It would sit nicely on an average wrist.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. The stones are bright and intact. The clasp is secure and the hinge is in good working condition. There is some wear to the surface of the stones which is not unusual for a Victorian piece and not noticeable when worn.
