Victorian 14kt Gold Lion Face Locket w/ Diamonds

An exquisite gold lion's head locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning piece portrays a fantastic repousse face of a lion which has old Mine Cut diamond eyes and a single Mine Cut diamond clenched in between his front teeth. The lion has a 3-dimensional look and is very intricately detailed. The locket opens at the top to reveal a space for a special photograph. The total diamond weight of the piece is approximately .28ct tw. This fantastic locket would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The locket hangs 1 3/4" long, is a little less than 1 1/4" wide and has a depth of 3/8". The bail measures 1/4" long.

Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and all of the diamonds are intact. The locket closes easily and securely.
