Victorian 14kt Fabulous Turquoise Festoon Necklace

An absolutely stunning turquoise necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely and feminine piece is set in 14kt rosy yellow gold and is comprised of 23 round cabochon and 23 oval shaped turquoise stones. Each of the oval shaped stones is bezel set and dangles from the round turquoise stones in a festoon style. The turquoise is a brilliant blue color with natural mineral spider webbing throughout. A 14kt yellow gold chain completes the necklace and clasps in the back and can be adjusted to two different lengths. It's a wonderful piece that would look great worn day or night!

Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 15.75" long. When clasped at the shorter link, the necklace measures approximately 14.75" in length; when clasped at the longer link, the necklace measures approximately 15.75" in length. The turquoise pieces range slightly in size, however, on an average, the round stones measure 3/8" in diameter and oval stones measure 5/8" long and 3/8" wide. 

Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the turquoise or to the gold setting or chain. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
