A lovely banded agate pendant locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece, which is oval in shape, has a large cabochon banded agate stone set in its center. The stone is bezel set in vibrant 15kt yellow gold, which displays lovely foxtail wirework detailing. The cabochon agate stone has a gorgeous striped design with earth tones of reddish brown, tan and white. The pendant hangs from a lovely complimentary gold bail and the underside of the pendant reveals a glass-covered spot to hold a favorite photograph. It's a gorgeous piece and would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 3/4" long, is 1" wide and 3/8" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the banded agate stone. The glass casing of the locket opens and closes securely and easily.
