A wonderful and unusual gold dog pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This piece, which depicts a detailed 3-dimensional face of a dog, is made of 15kt yellow gold. A red enamel tongue is sticking out of the dog's mouth and 2 old Rose Cut diamonds represent its eyes. The face of the dog is extremely detailed with textured curly fur, small floppy ears and a protruding snout. It's hollow inside and very light to wear. On the back of the pin is a simple c-catch clasp. It is simply lovely and a must for any dog jewelry collector!

Measurements: The pin measures approximately 1 1/8" wide, 1 1/8" long and a little less than 1 1/8" in depth.

Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. There is no apparent damage to any of the gold and the diamonds are intact. There is a small chip at the tip of the red enamel tongue. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
