Fantastic gold earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring, which is fairly large in size, is made of vibrant 15kt yellow gold and is beautifully decorated with delicate Etruscan wirework and beadwork. The earrings, which have a 3-dimensional shape, hang from a round gold surmount which is attached to the wires. Graduating gold teardrops hang from the bottom of the earring center which add wonderful detail. Very light and comfortable to wear, these marvelous earrings would be great worn day or night.

Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/4" long, is 1/2" at the widest point and 3/8" in depth.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold, wirework/beadwork detail or to the earring wires. The surface of the gold, surrounding the wirework design, has some natural patina which adds to the richness of the earrings.
