Victorian 15kt Inlaid Pyramid Scottish Agate Earrings
Beautiful agate earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning pair of Scottish agate earrings portray a 15kt yellow gold pyramidal shape which hangs from a gold earring wire. On all 4 sides as well as at the bottom of the shape are 9 pieces of Scottish agate which vary in color and shape. Each is inlaid within the gold and vary in type, including carnelian, bloodstone and moss agate stones. The pointed shape has a gold cap at the top which attaches to a green agate bead topper. They are simply lovely and would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 1 3/8" long, a little less than 1/2" at the widest point and have a depth of 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the agate or to the gold earring or wires.
