Victorian 15kt Repousse 3 Dog Locket w/ Diamonds - On Hold

An exquisite raised dog locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era. Made of 15kt yellow gold, this stunning piece portrays the majestic repousse heads of 3 dogs. A single diamond represents the eyes of each dog and the back is a simple smooth gold surface with hand engraved initials. The piece hangs from a small gold bail and opens to expose 2 places for your favorite photograph. This fabulous piece would make a lovely addition to any collection of fine Victorian.

Measurements: The locket hangs approximately 1 3/8" long. The diameter of the locket measures slightly more than 1 1/8" and has a depth of 1/8".

Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold locket. All of the diamonds are intact and the locket opens easily and stays securely closed.
