Victorian 15kt Rose Gold, Onyx & Enamel Bracelet

A fantastic onyx and enamel bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) period! This gorgeous hinged bangle is made of 15kt rose gold and has a very unusual and fabulous design. The front of the bracelet looks as though it wraps around your wrist with 24 square pyramid shaped onyx stones set in the gold. The onyx stones have a 3-dimensional look which resemble a modern day stud and are surrounded by an ornate milgrained border. In between the 2 rows of onyx studs are 7 small gold balls and at the ends are 2 onyx caps. The underside of the bangle bracelet is covered in black enamel which is in perfect condition. Extremely comfortable to wear and light in weight this fabulous piece would make a great addition to any collection! 

Measurements: The top surface of the bracelet measures 5/8" wide and the underside surface measures 1/4" wide. The inside opening (where your wrist would rest) measures 2 3/8" wide by 2 1/8" tall.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the enameled surface and besides a few minor chips, there is no major damage to the onyx stones. The clasp and hinge are secure and in good working condition.
