Fantastic gold earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring is made of vibrant 15kt yellow gold and portray a simple yet stunning urn design. The earrings, which have a 3-dimensional look, hang from a gold pentagonal surmount which is attached to a modern, clasped wires. Each is beautifully decorated with delicate Etruscan wirework which covers almost the entire surface and gives them a classic Victorian look. Handles rest on either side of the urns and 2 gold beads sit at the bottom of each handle. Very light and comfortable to wear, these marvelous earrings would be great worn day or night.

Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1" long, is slightly less than 1/2" at the widest point and is 1/4" in depth.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold, wirework/beadwork detail or to the earring wires.
