A gorgeous gold bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wide bangle is made of vibrant 15kt yellow gold and has a fantastic 3-dimensional design on the front surface. The hinged bracelet has a fine wirework and Etruscan design that covers the surface of the front of the piece and the underside is a smooth gold surface. The bracelet clasps on the side and has a safety chain for added security. There are several English hallmarks on the bracelet; the tongue of the clasp is stamped "15" and "625" and the underside of both the front and back of the bracelet is marked "15", "625" and "BNJ" along with an anchor and another makers mark. This bangle would rest nicely on an average size wrist and looks stunning on. A strong Victorian piece, it would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurement: The surface of the bracelet measures slightly less than 1" wide. The inside opening (where your wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall.

Condition: The overall condition of this bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold bracelet or to the raised details. The clasp is snug and secure and the hinge is in good working condition. There is some normal surface scratches on the underside of the bangle which is not unusual for a Victorian bangle and not noticeable when the piece is worn.
