Victorian 15kt Yellow Gold Horseshoe Necklace

A gorgeous gold horseshoe necklace from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This beautiful horseshoe pendant is fairly large in size and made of 15kt yellow gold. It has a smooth surface with a raised 8-nail design on either side. The tips of the horseshoe have 2 small rings where the chain attaches. It is connected to a modern 14kt yellow gold chain which is marked "585" at the clasp. A real beauty, this stunning piece would look lovely worn alone or with other pendants!

Measurements: The horseshoe measures 1 1/4" tall, a little less than 1 1/4" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/16". The chain measures approximately 17" long.

Condition: The overall condition of the horseshoe is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold pendant or to the chain. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
