Victorian 15kt Sailors Compass Charm/Pendant
A lovely Victorian sailors compass pendant/charm! This unusual piece is from the Victorian period (ca1880) and is made of 15kt yellow gold. It depicts a simple, double sided compass encased in a 15kt gold bezel setting that depicts the shape of a sailing wheel. The compass has a crystal face on both sides and the center is completely see-through. At the top is a small gold ring which is perfect for attaching to a chain, watch hook or to be worn as a bracelet charm. This fun piece would look great worn as a pendant or a charm and would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: The compass has an approximate diameter of 1 1/8" and is 1/4" thick. The gold ring has an inside diameter of a little less than 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. the compass is in excellent condition and besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold.
