Victorian 18kt Diam Emerald & Rock Quartz Crystal Pendant

An absolutely fabulous and unusual rock quartz pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful piece is comprised of a rock quartz crystal, rose cut diamonds and a single, stunning cabochon, emerald stone. The rock quartz crystal is hand cut and has a hand faceted edge framing the outside and set in the center is an 8-point star which is made of 18kt yellow gold. The star, which has been attached by being riveted through the back of the crystal, has 16 old Rose Cut diamonds set within it and at the center, is a single natural emerald. The cabochon stone has brilliant, deep green color and there are also 3 rose cut diamonds on the bail. This lovely piece is very unique and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The pendant has a diameter of approximately 1 1/4" and is about 1/2" thick from the back to top of cabochon emerald. The bail measures approximately 1/4" by 1/4".

Condition: The pendant is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, crystal or to the emerald, and all of the diamonds are intact.
