An exquisite diamond crescent necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This exquisite open crescent moon pendant is encrusted with 25 old Mine Cut diamonds that are set in an 18kt yellow gold setting. The diamonds graduate in size and have a total approximate weight of 6.00ct tw, color in the H-I range, and clarity in the VS1/SI2 range. The fine wirework can be seen from the side of the crescent and a small ring rest at the top and the side. Originally a pin, the crescent has been connected to a modern 14kt gold chain and worn as a striking pendant. A real beauty, this stunning piece would look lovely worn alone or with other complimentary pendants!

Measurements: The open crescent moon measures 3 5/8" tall, is 3/16" at the widest and deepest points. The modern chain can be worn at two lengths: 18” and 20”.

Condition: The overall condition of the crescent necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the pendant or chain, and all of the diamonds are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
