Victorian 18kt Gold & Diamond Horseshoe Necklace .80ct
A gorgeous gold horseshoe pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful horseshoe pendant, which was converted from a pin, is made of 18kt yellow gold. The face of the horseshoe is encrusted with 26 sparkling mine cut diamonds which graduate in size. The diamonds have an approximate weight of .80ct tw and are all prong set within the yellow gold. The tips of the horseshoe have 2 small rings where the chain attaches. It is connected to an ornate 14kt yellow gold chain, which is stamped “14K” on its clasp. A real beauty, this stunning piece would look lovely worn alone or with other pendants!
Measurements: The horseshoe measures 3/4" tall, a little less than 3/4" at the widest point and has a depth of less than 1/8". The chain measures approximately 18" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the horseshoe is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold pendant or to the chain and all of the diamonds are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
