A gorgeous emerald and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) period. This lovely ring has a large, oval shaped emerald stone resting in the center of a border of diamonds. The emerald, which weighs approximately 1.05ct tw, has a faceted face and a pointed, faceted back. The emerald is bezel set in 18kt yellow gold and surrounded by 10 sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds. The diamonds are bezel set in sterling silver and have a total approximate weight of 1.60ct tw. The emerald has exquisite, rich green color and an additional diamond rests on the shoulders of the mounting. It is a unique ring and would make a stunning addition to any collection!

Measurements: The emerald and diamond border measure approximately 5/8" wide, 5/8" tall and rests 1/4" atop your finger when worn. The ring is a size 5.25 but could easily be resized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear there is no serious damage to the gold and sterling setting or to the emerald and all of the diamonds are intact.
