Victorian 18kt Mixed Metals Diamond Engage Ring .78ct
A lovely diamond engagement ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! The center diamond stone, which is an old Cushion Cut, has a total approximate weight of .78ct tw and is prong set in 18kt white gold. The stone, which sits high above the band, has L color and SI1 clarity. The band is made of vibrant 18kt yellow gold and has a wonderful etched floral design that carries down the shoulder of the ring. The inside shank is stamped "A" with a star next to it, along with “18K”. The ring was appraised by an accredited, independent Gemologist in December 2012 and has a stated retail replacement value of $4,300.00. It is a gorgeous piece and would make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5.25 but it could easily be resized. When worn, the ring sits a little more than 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond is intact.
