Victorian 9kt Rock Quartz Crystal Heart Pendant

An absolutely fabulous rock quartz crystal pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece is comprised of a single rock quartz crystal heart which is fairly large in size. The crystal has a flat face and back and a surrounding beveled edge. The heart rests within a 9kt yellow gold frame that borders the entire piece. Attached at the top of the gold bezeled frame is an ornate, scrolled bail that finishes off the piece perfectly. There are several English hallmarks at the top of the heart: "375", "P", "9", "C & Co." along with another marking. It's a simply magnificent and unusual piece and would make any collection complete!

Measurements: The rock quartz crystal pendant hangs approximately 1 3/4" long, is 1 1/4" wide and is about 1/4" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the crystal heart or to the gold bail and frame.
