Victorian Emerald & Diamond Rock Quartz Crystal Pendant

An absolutely fabulous Victorian (ca1880) pendant.  This piece is comprised of rock quartz crystal, rose cut diamonds and a single, stunning emerald cabochon stone.  The base of the piece, the rock quartz crystal, is a hand cut faceted stone which has a 8-point star set in the center of it.  The star, which has been attached by being riveted through the back of the crystal, has 16 rose cut diamonds set within it.  In the center of the star, is a single natural emerald stone.  It has a brilliant, deep green color and is a cabochon cut.  The star and the bail on the piece are made of 15kt yellow gold.  There are also 3 rose cut diamonds on the bail.  A simply magnificent piece!

Measurements: The pendant has a diameter of approximately 1 1/4" and is about 1/2" thick from the back to top of cabochon emerald. The bail measures approximately 1/4" by 1/4" and the approximate weight of the emerald is 2ctw.

Condition: The pendant is in excellent condition.  There is no apparent dammage to the crystal or the emerald and of the diamonds are intact.
