Victorian Enameled Heart Cherub & Pearl Pendant
A lovely heart shaped enameled cherub pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This delicate piece is light blue in color and encased in a sterling silver frame with a pearl border. The vibrant colored enameled cherub is clutching a soft, cloud like pink blanket while gazing down from the heavens. It is surrounded by a thin 14kt yellow gold topped border and 15 natural seed pearls which are set in sterling silver. A black and white enameled bow and a single pink tourmaline graces the top of the pendant. The bail is sterling silver and detailed with 4 graduating seed pearls and a single pearl swings from the bottom of the piece. This beautiful pendant would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant measures approximately 1 1/4" tall and 7/8" at the widest point. The bail measures approximately 3/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the enameled picture or all of the pearls and tourmaline are intact. There is a small amount of damage to the top of the gold frame which is not noticeable when worn.
