Victorian Etruscan 15kt Garnet Earring/Necklace Set
An exquisite garnet earring and necklace set from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Comprised of a pair of earrings and a royal-looking necklace, all three pieces depict a wonderful and complimentary design. Each of the dramatic earrings portrays a cabochon garnet stone, which is set in 15kt yellow gold and surrounded by a pearl frame. The shield-like gold link is surrounded by gorgeous Etruscan gold wirework and gold ball dangles from the bottom. Just as dramatic as these fabulous earrings, is the matching necklace! The necklace holds three pendants with the largest in the center. Each pendant holds a cabochon garnet at its center, framed by feminine pearls. All three shield-like pendants display lovely Etruscan gold wirework and hanging from the two smaller pendants are two tassels with Etruscan wirework. Dangling from the center pendant is a simple smooth gold vessel. The chain, which is made of vibrant 15kt yellow gold, is absolutely stunning, as it drapes and overlaps and creates a unique design. It’s truly a gorgeous Etruscan earring and necklace set and a must have for any Victorian garnet collector!
