Victorian Gold Filled & 14kt Oxblood Coral Earrings
Wonderful oxblood coral earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring begins with a solid ball of vibrant coral which has a gold filled back and a 14kt yellow gold wire. Dangling from the coral surmount is a smaller coral ball which has a thin bar riveted through the center. Dangling from the center link is a long tear drop shaped coral stone. The top of each tear drop is capped with a small scalloped gold filled topper. The natural oxblood coral is a wonderful, rich orange color and the earrings are very light and comfortable to wear. These stunning earrings are in beautiful condition and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/8" long and measures 1/4" at the thickest point of the tear drop link. The diameter of the top onyx ball is a little more than 1/4".
Condition:
The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no other apparent damage to the coral, gold filled details or gold wires.
