Absolutely fantastic gold earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring, which is very large in size, is made of vibrant 15kt yellow gold and is beautifully decorated with a very royal looking design. The earrings, which have a 3-dimensional appearance, hang from a scrolled shell-like topper which is attached to the earring wires. A curved, flat 'v' shape dangles from the surmount and a gold urn swings through the center. The v-shaped frame has a textured surface and a border of gold beadwork. Very light and comfortable to wear, these marvelous earrings look stunning on. They would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/2" long, is 1" at the widest point and slightly more than 1/4" in depth.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold earrings or to the earring wires. The surface of the gold has some natural patina which adds to the richness of the earrings.
