Stunning diamond studs from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring has a single old Mine Cut diamond stone set within a sterling silver bezel setting. The diamonds have an approximate total weight of 2.20ctw SI1-SI2 clarity and the I-J color. The surface of the silver setting has a rich natural patina which adds to the beauty of the earrings. The posts look to have been changed to screwbacks (probably for safety reasons) and have 14kt white gold screwbacks, which are stamped "585". The earrings come with an appraisal from an accredited and independent GIA certified gemologist. These beautiful Victorian earrings would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: Each earring has a diameter of slightly less than 3/8" and have a depth of 3/16".

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the diamond stones and the screwbacks are secure and in good working condition. There is a small amount of wear to the surface of the silver setting which is not unusual for a pair of Victorian earrings.
