Victorian Sterling & 14kt Diamond Starburst Pin/Pendant
A gorgeous diamond starburst pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is comprised of 56 old Rose Cut and old Mine Cut diamonds. The center stone, a Mine Cut diamond, which weighs approximately .28ct is surrounded by the smaller 55 diamonds weighing approximately 1.25ct tw. The surrounding stones are a mix of Rose Cut and Mine Cut diamonds and are set in a sterling silver topped 14kt yellow gold setting. The pin has a secure pin clasp on the back which is stamped with a "14K" marking and can be easily removed. Also on the back is a watch hook which makes it able to be easily hooked onto a necklace and worn as a pendant. It is lovely piece and would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pin/pendant measures approximately 1 5/8" wide, 1 5/8" long and has a depth of 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the pin/pendant is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the sterling or gold and all of the diamonds are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
