Victorian Sterling Etched Etruscan Bangle Bracelet

An absolutely fabulous sterling bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gorgeous sterling silver bracelet is particularly wide and has an etched and Etruscan wirework design across the surface. At the center of the bracelet is a wonderful floral etched design that stretches sides to side. The flowers are lined on the top and bottom with a thin sterling tube, giving it a 3-dimensional appearance. Above and below this tubular accent is a line of pyramidal shapes along with a flowing Etruscan wirework design. Rich in detail, the bracelet is hinged and clasps on the side and the underside of the bracelet is simple smooth silver. On the interior of the piece is the marking "STERLING". Handmade and hand-etched, the bangle is a classic Victorian piece. Worn alone or with other bracelets it would make a great addition to any collection!

Measurements: The top surface of the bracelet measures a little less than 1 1/4" wide and has a depth of 1/4". The inside opening (where your wrist would fit) measures 2 1/8" long and approximately 1 7/8" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling silver and the clasp and hinge are secure and in good working condition.
