A beautiful pave turquoise necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) period! This lovely piece is set in sterling silver and is comprised of a sterling link chain which has cabochon turquoise stones set within it. Each stone is bezel set in a millgrained setting. Dangling from the front of the necklace are 7 oval shaped domed links that are pave (French for pavement) set with cabochon turquoise stones. Dangling on the ends on each side of the links is a single small vertical oval bezel set turquoise stone. Each of the oval shaped pave turquoise links dangle from the chain in a festoon style. The natural turquoise varies in color which adds to the richness of the piece. The clasp is hidden within a round pave set turquoise link and there is a safety chain for added security. It’s a wonderful piece that would look great worn casually or dressy.

Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 18” long. The pave set links range in size from 1/2" long by 5/16" wide being the smallest to slightly less than 3/4" long by a little less than 1/2" wide being the largest.

Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the turquoise or sterling silver and all of the stones are intact. The clasp and the safety chain is secure and in good working condition.
