Victorian Sterling Silver Engraved Heart Locket

A beautiful heart locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderfully simple piece is made of sterling silver and depicts the shape of a medium sized heart. The hand engraved initials "A M B" are written on the front face of the locket and the back has a smooth surface.  The inside opens to reveal 2 original photographs, one on each side, of two Victorian men along with the stamp "STERLING". This locket would look lovely worn alone or with other lockets and pendants!

Measurements: The locket hangs slightly less than 1 3/4" long, is 1 1/4" wide and 1/8" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling locket, which closes easily and securely. There are a few very minor surface scratches and a minor ding on the back of the locket which is not unusual for a Victorian locket.
